Temple Akiba Senior Temple Youth (TASTY) Group

Temple Akiba’s Youth Program, also known as TASTY, is open to Akiba members in 4th through 12th grade. Temple Akiba youth groups enable our students to work together, build character and confidence, and develop their individual potential in an exciting format. Youth programs offer age-appropriate opportunities such as trips, sports, social action, games, art, drama, music and free discussion. Our youth have participated in bowling, rock-climbing, go-karting, ice-skating, hiking, color-me-mine, virtual reality, escape rooms, mini-golfing, beach days, movie nights and so much more!

TASTY is divided into groups by grade and monthly events are geared towards each group’s needs.

 TASTY Bites: 4-5th grade members

TASTY Treats: 6-8th grade members

Senior TASTY: 9-12th grade members

Leadership opportunities are open to our high school students in Senior TASTY. We have an elected teen youth board every year who help plan events for Senior TASTY as well as help staff events for younger TASTY groups.

TASTY Sessions 2025-2026

TASTY Veteran’s Day Program: A one-day program on Tuesday, November 11th from 9am-4pm at Temple Akiba hosted by the Director of Youth Programs. Open to Temple Akiba Members and Non-Members in Transitional Kindergarten to 5th grade.

Cost: $85 for Members | $100 for Non-Members

Pricing includes Pizza lunch and 2 snacks.

Register by October 15 and receive a $10 discount.

Temple Akiba Camps and Youth Programs are now using Campminder for all camp registrations and required forms! If one of your children attended a camp program in 2023, 2024 or 2025 please use the Returning Camper Application.
