Community Sukkot Dinner
Friday, September 25 at 5:30 PM
We’ll enjoy a Shabbat dinner in and around the Sukkah from California Chicken Cafe. After dinner, we’ll commence to services at 6:30pm, where we'll greet Shabbat and honor the holiday of Sukkot.

Sukkot & Yizkor Morning Service
Saturday, September 26 at 10:30 AM
Join us under the Sukkah for a Sukkot Morning Service. The service will include a brief Torah Study as well as an opportunity to honor loved ones who have died with a Yikzor remembrance.

Community Sukkah Decorating Party
Sunday, September 27, 12:00 PM
Sukkot is here, and we can't wait to hang out & decorate our Akiba sukkah together! Please bring any scrap fabrics/old clothes, etc, to help us work together to make a variety of "upcycled" garlands and hanging decor. Free to attend & decorate, $5 per person for lunch

Simchat Torah with Mostly Kosher

We welcome Mostly Kosher to help us sing & dance and show our gratitude for the amazing gift that is Torah. Mostly Kosher, the acclaimed Klezmer/Rock band, radically reconstructs Judaic and American cultural music through ravenous klezmer beats and arresting Yiddish refrains.

Mah Tovu Concert

Join us during Religious School for an incredible concert with Mah Tovu (Rabbi Ken Chasen & Rabbi Yoshi Zweiback). Mah Tovu will embrace us with spiritual and rousing music that will touch our souls. We sing their version of “Hashkiveinu/ Shelter Us” regularly each week!
